I want to still play the game, so an offline patch would be neat. Who else wants to play ?

After reading your announcement that you will shutdown the server I've tested the statement of a review user, that the game needs internet in general - and he is right. What does this mean now? I love the game so far, but when it says in the EA description that they expect to be in EA 1-2 months, and it's been nearly 5, with no word, apart from a last news update 2 months in, and no change in the estimate on the store page ... I would hope it's not been given up on :-(...

Before I decide to buy it I need to confirm few things. Will it be an online only DRM? so we can't play it in offline mode? or we can play it anytime and anywhere we want?
