Does this game get the same updates as the main game? Saw a recent update but no news here.

Is it true you get the demigod skin when playing through full game rush without dying? I just want to know if it is true and thus worth it that I put my time into trying that, cause I'm not having fun anymore. Today I got through it till the Defiance Stages without dying only to make a small mistake and thats it. The game runs at 144FPS seemingly locked for me. It's so smooth and feels beautiful to play. I am by no means a speedrunner, but I am really enjoying the fluidity and freedom of movement. It's fun to just mess around and explore the levels looking for the keys, and then completing it. I don't think I'll be able to do any serious route optimization on a Controller (using A to Jump lol, bumpers felt just strange) but it's still really fun if you play it as a conventional 3D platformer instead of a Speedrunni...
