same graphics and looks for well over 10 years now at least update with better shadows and textures or something anything when you make a new game

When I select fullscreen, there's ample space around the gameplay graphics, and the gameplay area looks "square." I can choose 1280x720, and the graphics look like this. Indie...Retro... all I hear is "We don't have anyone that can do graphics or we suck at visual elements" while all the fanboys yell, "There's more to games than graphics....." A lot of us disagree with you. Attention all developers out there. Quit making sh!tty looking block style games. You only convinced people for a short time that it was the new wave of what's cool. Now your games just look like a$$....

So I've heard great things about theses games and I have all of them (other than this one) based on reputation alone. Now I'm looking for a starting point and I figure the latest game is gonna attract the best amount of responses since I dont't know which of them is most popular (so where else to post this).
