If you're getting a "DX11 could not switch resolution" error...
I updated to Windows 10 recently and The Letter stopped launching, instead giving me this Unity error:

DX11 could not switch resolution fs=1 hz=0 Switching to resolution [] failed, trying lower one... All resolution switches have failed

In case you're having the same issue, adding a set screen width/height to Steam launch options (Properties -> General -> Set Launch Options) managed to fix it for me:

-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080
