Come on guys, the G27 fix should be a priority with it being such a popular wheel. It's a pain to have to do the introduction on every play just to get the wheel recognised.
win 10 pro
i7 6950k
rampage extreme V 1.3 motherboard
gtx 1080 sli
Also my PC config runs fine with..sometimes I get one stutter but most off all it runs smooth.
Win10
i7-47900K
16GB ram
GTX970
ps: I miss the rear view button :(
For the ones I would wish me some further fps improvement. But the mode important would be a lower bonnet cam with less angle.
Driving wise it's pretty good now but sometimes the weight transfer of the car is to overdone - when these problems are fixed the game is brilliant.
I'm really surprised Kylotonn! :)
I actually like this more than when it was before, It makes driving more enjoyable on a gamepad. :)
However if I change the camera back and forth to the second chase cam again during a race it returns to how it prevously was before the patch (focused more at the back of the car) but when I start a new stage the second chase camera lets the car tilt a bit again.
Please keep it that way or implement an option to adjust the tilting of the car on the chase camera, like the option that lets you adjust the distance of the camera. :)
Locked at 60fps but judders as if it's 30fps for a few seconds, then back to normal fluidity.
After some testing I found that I have to let the game control vsync now instead of nvidia inspector like I was previously doing.
I have set shadows to very high like I always have, but now I have had to edit the .cfg file and set both shadow resolutions to 1024.
Both of these changes has reduced the stutter to maybe 1 or 2 tiny hitches in a race.
Before this patch I had both shadow resolutions set to 4096 and was forcing vsync in inspector. Dunno what has changed with this patch?
Hopefully some further improvements will come in future patches, along with fully customisable camera angles, proper replay angles and fix the weather(rain and fog) to look correct.
Nice to see the devs trying to get all the kinks ironed out though, fair play!
Keep the patches coming ;)
To anyone having stutter after the patch, try borderless-fullscreen - it runs much better than fullscreen for me now.
Anyway, the game should set it up automatically like other racing games.
Opposite for me. Borderless gives me over 20fps less. Every game is like that for me. Have to run fullscreen.
