There is something seriously wrong with your game guys...I've never had a game cause something like this and I've played a lot of games in my life. I had to uninstall it just to stop it from basically taking over my Steam browser etc. and NO...this is not a problem from my end. My pc has been fine up until i tried loading your game. Needless to say I am super upset. Seriously what the hell...

I am really upset about this also because I have supported this game since it's been on greenlight and have been looking forward to playing it, little did i know it would play itself in the background without me even knowing that it's running and unable to find it to close it etc.

-Did you try Ctrl+Alt+Del or Ctrl+Shift+Esc to try to deal with the game?
-What are your computer specs?
-Has this problem happened repeatedly?
-How can we replicate this bug?

Hi AngelicProcelain, I've spoken with the creator of Ren'Py, the engine that the game was built in. For us to get a better idea of what to do, we need the following:
-log.txt output
-a screenshot of the game showing the problem
-task manager output
That should help us get to the bottom of this problem.

Yes I tried ctrl+alt+del ... Look let's get one thing straight here, as much as I appreciate the fact that you guys are actually trying to fix this, I will not try to play the game again. I had to struggle for a whole hour yestrd. to try and get it off of my computer why would I risk it again. I was forced to restart my computer multiple times due to me actually giving the game the benefit of the doubt hoping that I'd be wrong but surely soon after the problem kept persisting. I can be grateful that I do not have Steam on "sign in on start-up" or I would probably still be having this issue. Steam was able to completely shut down once I shut down my pc so all games automatically stop due to steam closing, something one cannot do while steam is still open it seems and making use of my windows command had little effect. The more I tried closing Steam (aka the game also or mainly at first) the more prompts I got that I am still in the game which is ironic because I still have no idea what the game looks like - yet somehow i got an achievement anyway???? .... that only popped up after I uninstalled the game finally and was able to close steam after multiple restarts and much struggle. Needless to say I can't help you therefore probably not myself either, which means I now own a game that scares the crap out of me to try and play. As I said in the beginning on this message, I am not going through all that again. I simply do not have the time in my day to put aside for that, I merely wanted to enjoy a game I bought and have supported since Greenlight before bed since I had to get up early the next morning, and ended up having to deal with a big issue which resulted in a headache and a late nights rest. So no. Sorry. I don't care if this makes you guys suspicious or what ever because honestly I have no reason what so ever to be posting here otherwise ... Now if you'll excuse me I am risking it to reply here at this hour since I am at work.

We're sorry for the stress this has caused you. If this is a common problem, we'll try to fix it. In the meantime I'll be deleting the duplicate thread.
