Recently (was not the case before — say, in December 2022 I played it awhile with no problems) my Hand of Fate 2 started crashing for no apparent reason (it could crash while loading the game or after some playtime — in the menus, in battles, etc.) with error 20968fa45e51. My graphic drivers are up to date. Been getting back into Hand of Fate after nearly a decade hiatus. Since then I've picked up tabletop gaming so revisiting Hand of Fate was inevitable: I love the presentation and mix of genres. I'm beginning to understand why I dropped the first game, though: having the game randomly punish you repeatedly followed by the dealer saying something dickish isn't very fun after a rough day at work. like the title says I press play on steam it goes up to a black screen and I get the in game mouse pointer for all of a second before it crashes
