Follow up DLC?
I really enjoyed this game and it's interpretations of the characters from the classical novel into their F/F couple events. Since that is the case I really want to see a DLC or extra stories added to the original game that touch up on what happened after the events of the game.

In the original novel, at the end, it speaks about what Sarah does with her new fortune as she sets up a deal with the local bakery to provide bread to the children in need while the bill would be sent to her. I was grateful for this additon as it gave me just enough to know how she was doing after all the events transpired.

This is something I believe that the game would benefit from as each of the girls had their own desires about what they wished to do with their life. Such as Becky riding in a carriage or Jessie with shorter hair on a boat traveling to a new place. Even if they are not full events, but extra gallery pictures like with the ending with Lavinia, then I would feel even more content.

My main point with this would be, is something like that possible and if it is. I would be willing to pay for that additional content. How many of you would also agree with this? Perhaps if the gracious developers see a clear interest they might be willing to provide something like that in the future.

If not, that is okay as I have already fallen for this darling of a game; just as I have felt for the original book that I read daily.

I'm willing to pay for more of Sara and the rest of the girls too!! I just adore the game!!
Some nice epilogues would be just wonderful. :happymiya:

Unfortunately this sort of thing is really contingent on a lot more people buying the original game first...

A lot more people... so, we're not even close. That's depressing. And sad. And not fair. This beautiful game deserves better, that's for sure.

It's a familiar problem - a beautiful, well-made video game not getting near enough recognition to justify added content. Hanako games are even being proper sports about it, as I clearly remember them adding loads of content into 'Long Live the Queen' years after the release.

Basically, unless you explode in popularity (like bloody Undertale, or the amazing Life is Strange), the best you get is a modest, but devoted fanbase.

That said, if the stars align and more content is added to this lovely story, paid or not, I'm all in.

I'm not sure about any follow up. I think the story is fine as it is and all the routes gave me the feeling i had when i first red the book, with that bit of romance that made the whole story even more lovely. I fear that any follow up may destroy or alter the cute and lovely atmosphere the game leaves behind >.<

Well, you can't blame the fans for wanting more.

I could imagine her lifes after the game.

Sara and sweet brave Ermengarde travelling and exploring the world. And her bonds growing stronger with each adventure.

Sara and Jessie travelling visiting the cultural centres of Europe. Enjoying life together. And Jessie enjoying freedom.

Becky, just imagining how she live the huge change in her life, and how her relationship with Sara continues give me a cuteness overdose. They're the cutest thing together.

In Lavinia case, her story in the game feels like a starting point in her life. Is like her real story is about to start.

Oh well, maybe I should write a fanfic or something.
If only I could write well... or at least in decent english. (I'm not fooling anyone, I can't write decently even in my Mother language :allpfatigue:)

true true but if you'r a lover of VRs you will appreciate hanakos work. Right now VRs is still in develope as an gaming genre

I think it's understandable to need more interest/purchases before being able to devote time and resources to DLC. About how much interest, from a creator's point of view, would be enough to develop epilogue DLC? Bc Ermengarde is a doll and I'd love more of her *-*

In the mean time, I'll be writing some fanfiction to state me.
