How am I not seeing more people talking about the blatant misinformation in the opening scene
Seriously, have the dev's ever even played poker before? It wouldn't be as big of a deal if it wasn't the entire premise of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Just to clarify, I am talking about the moment when the player gets the best hand and the wolf goes all in, then the player states "i can't match that, I have to fold" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what? That is not how poker works at all, if you could force people to fold just by having more chips it wouldn't even be a game, you'd either nickle and dime them to death with the small and big blinds (how you buy into the game) or just keep going all in until you get an extremely good hand, it just breaks the entire game. In real life you'd go all in with your own chips and win whatever amount you had with the rest returning to the person that put in the extra chips. Honestly all they had to do was not include the "i have to fold" line and it would have all been fine. :er_angry: I got this game free on epic games a while back and decided to play it today and then got smacked in the face by that opening and had to go rant somewhere about it. For a game that appears to be centered around story telling it kills all of the credibility when the entire story starts and is caused by a poker game that wasn't even played properly.

I don't even play poker and thought that didn't sound right.

As far as I remember that was the poker that was played decades ago when there was really only one version of the game(what people call Five-card stud today) before Texas Hold em took over relatively recently.

It's almost as if it is a metaphor or something.

Yeah, very weird, but I've seen it before, in the movie Lock Stock and two smoking barrels the same situation appears. I wondered if it maybe is a certain different type of poker, but it sounds dumb.
