The above mentioned fix didn't work for me anyway. I had to use the DXVK fix to stop the flickering.

bro I had a GTX 1660 and it worked fine but when I upgraded to a RTX 4060 it don't work no more

The game is almost ten years old at this point. This hardware didn't exist nor was even known when it was made, which would have been over ten years from when development began. If you run it on recommended hardware from ten years ago, it'll be perfect.

But in the meantime, the driver config tweak fixes do work. It's not really surprising that an old game doesn't work perfectly on far newer hardware it wasn't and could never be designed for.

They still sell these games tho. Why shouldn't they provide the support to make them runnable on modern systems? There are solutions for our struggles it's just that no one cares. Ubisoft is a sinking ship. It probably wont take much more time till they dump their uplay/ubisoftconnect ♥♥♥♥ and migrate to steam.

Nvidia requires a non DRM version of the game in order to do their thing, so they can't help until that happens, which it clearly hasn't.
