Finished the game normally, now trying time attack, I can't do level 2 because it's not painting properly.

You get to a part where there are two guns that should paint the ceiling and meet in the middle, but it keeps leaving a gap and costs a huge amount of time. I thought maybe I am missing something, but looking at youtube videos, it should just paint across, no waiting.

It did happen when I was doing the levels normally, but having to wait for it to finally paint the ceiling didn't matter there. I've tried restarting and it's the same every time.

How am I supposed to get any where near the gold medal if the game does this?
