top cards players are trash
If it was not for sabotage powers and kidnap, they wouldnt know what to do with themselves. The only way they can win is by using unfair, cheesy, broken game mechanics.

so just get them yourself? use powers that can counter the sabotage?
don't use a single tower as defense?

I dont believe in using cheap, lame tactics to win. The sabotage powers are broken and thats why the vast majority of the so-called 'top' players use them... because it is a quick and easy way to win.

It will be some hard send then they will use power lock so you can't use any of your powers and they will also kidnap the most effective tower you have relative to the send. There's literally nothing you can do about it. Even if you have that same tower in your hand (or even something better), by the time you can place it again, you've leaked and lost. It's basically an "I win" button against almost anybody and the only way you can possibly protect yourself from it is to know in advance that they are going to do it.

It's a trash tactic. Kidnap is also a horrible card because even though you are refunded the cost of the tower kidnapped, it's mostly irrelevant because people tend to only use kidnap when it's going to win them the game.

For the record, I'm not some noob. I have over 10k card matches with around a 75% win rate and I've been playing this game since way back in the day. Some things are just broken, like the sabotage powers and thje kidnap card.

i agree it is a trash tactic and ive been playing bloons since the original flash game

For powerlock I use Monkey acid.
Biggest problem is nerf with kidnap for me.
How are you able to use monkey acid if someone powerlocks you? You can only use it in advance, and you have to know it's coming. Also, the acid typically isn't strong enough to make much of a difference.

I do hate kidnap but I had it in one of my decks because when you don't run it, you're at a disadvantage.

The Kidnap card and the Sabotage power tree are what ruined cards IMO. Both of them are bad. I couldn't tell you how many times I've lost matches because of the kidnap card, whether that is early game or late game. In early game people can steal your best tower and rush with something you can't very well defend against and also even stop you from being able to use powers. In late game, people with kidnap can use it to remove towers over and over again, which isn't too much of a problem until you get to a point in which there's so many blimps on screen covering stuff up that you can't even tell what was kidnapped, or exactly where to replace a tower. Eventually the person with the kidnap card is very likely to win.

This is why I don't like playing in any arenas that are more than 2,000 medallions because every single person in higher arenas plays like that. Kidnap + Sabotage. Literally every one of them. For them it's all about finding the cheesiest and fastest way to win. I feel like I play this game too much but there's people out there who play far more than I do. They are on all day, every day, just using the same tactic over and over again. I don't understand how that can possibly be fun for anyone. No matter what time of day I get on, they are there playing. Are all of these top Bloons TD players unemployed?
