Same here. Not working after Win 11 update.

Solved. Verify integrity of game files, it should download some missing files. Start the game and let the executable update. Start again and it should work.

A solution for my case: search for Activate or Deactivate Windows Features, check off the .NET 3.5 option and click on OK. When the process is over, start the game.

Windows 10 solution: In the "Control Panel - Activate or Deactivate Windows Features" .NET 3.5 option was off. I turned it ON, then OFF, launch the game and it offer me instal .NET 3.5 and succesfully run. Thanks man @Either//OR

All solutions don´t work for me. My other PC with similar hardware but Win10 have no problem to start the game. But With Win11 game don´t start. i have try copy the whole game from the Win10 PC to the Win11 PC but also not works for me. I also try a "offline" "LAN Version" of this game on my Win11 PC. It works, The game/engine itself is not the problem, but i think the exe File from Steam installer.

I disabled Steam overlay, verified the game files, restarted my PC and kept starting the game until it worked. Didn't get any message or prompt to install anything though, weird. Works now though

as @Mio said, disabling Steam Overlay did the trick for me
