You haven't done the Warmonger achievement yet, maybe that unlocks it.

yeah u are right. For warmonger i have to press W, B, P and etc... right? I have seen achievement guides. The game is so buggy no wonder it is free now

not that I have actually tried again, but I still don't have the achievement... anyone plz report back if u find what works.

i somehow got it all i did was go into the game and in the corner it said collected and a picture and then i got achievement

I messed around a little after reading your post and I have it now, too.

First I went thru all the menus etc. and just looked around. Listened to all the alex lines etc.

Then went in to options and it said "locked" under palettes. I clicked the arrows (both down and up) a bunch of times but the only one I could select was "game gal" so I did. Then I unlocked or upgraded or whatever the "wide" weapon. (Not sure if that was related.) Then played dot destroyer a little bit and it gave me the achievement.

BTW all the rest of the palettes, I had unlocked previously. Not sure why it was showing "locked". But when I quit playing DD and went back into options for palettes then all the colorful ones etc. had appeared again and it wasn't saying "locked" any more.

Was there a patch? Was this just a glitch? Was I really missing a requirement for the achievement?

IDK + IDRC. 100% achievements = uninstall time! :P

i know what you have to do you need to restart the game once click on options then press down and up on the paletes arrows than go back to the menu play dot destroyer and you get the achievement ;D

tbh it's going to be trial and error and most likely no one will help you with this beyond what you see above. you will just have to try your own thing, like i did.

but i'm curious: do you have all the pallettes unlocked and the achievement won't pop, or do you still need to unlock pallette(s)? cuz if the latter, then obviously u should not expect the achievement unless all the pallettes are legit unlocked. gl.

Found out its pretty simple. In the other discussion people were talking about immediately getting 4 achievements just after they start playing DD. Thats causing the error. All you have to do is restart the game and then start playing and the achievement mentioned above unlocks after around 10,000 dots :)

As soon as u start the game first time, if you go to
Dot Destroyer->Upgrades
it will tell you that you have 1 dot:

and the first Bomb upgrade costs 50000.
If you click it even though you don't have enough dots to buy it, the points counter breaks:

and upon game restart it should award you the achievement.
(if still doesn't work, go to steam game properties and click the "Verify integrity of game files...")
To reset the game progress, go to regedit and delete the Pointless folder:
