I don't care btw. though, I just used it to make the sentence sound more vibrant. And in fact I find this situation of yours very hilarious.

Because if you really get hacked you need to do a lot thing to secure your account again, like reset your Mobile Token, and reset your email address, even though you can't get your thing back, but you can prevent others from selling your props again.

If the Haunted Metal Scrap got deleted rather than consumed (such as in crafting) or traded, there is a chance that Steam Support restores it, although it's not guaranteed.

If items were traded, sold or consumed instead, they are gone for good though.
