is it possible to add cloud saving, as i have it on android, it would be good to continue my game where i left off when out and about.

It is possible, and it is planed - same saves for pc/mac/android/itunes. But in a few weeks - I need to sort out how I gonna pay server bills first. But it is not that complicated.

Is this still on the cards? All now im at work, at my desk and could be grinding stages so I can amass some materials to make Rank 5 armor etc when i get home. But no cloud save :(

Just copy the folder to transfer game saves

Yes, but it is something that is not on my side - I wanna use extternal service for that. Currently - you can just copy/paste your saves.

Sorry for this temporary solution - but currently it is a best way.

Ill try to sync saves on dropbox and see if it works intuitively.

Rather than build in a cloud save, which would accompany server costs, an import/export function in the UI would accomplish the same thing in that it makes it easier for someone to just copy/paste the save file code without having to dig through folders and risk messing something up.

Yes, it is. Same for iDevices. If you have access to your phone - search for "user28" - you will see them. But I think your devices have to be rooted to see all files.

I really cannot find the savegame files. I would like to carry it on a flashdisk so I can play on different computers. The path above does not exist in my computer.

Just search for "user28" files(user281, user282, etc)

I tried but there was no such file in my computer.
