Controller double input

hi i'm using a ps4 controller but it seems to input double commands and when i'm in the game and press the start button i can't see the menu how can i fix ?

The game probably isent meant to be played with a ps4 controller
I use a xbox 360 controller that works great

Stories has native support to controllers (including DualShock 4) and if you have enabled Steam's emulation your input will be doubled (one by the game, one by Steam).

Please go to Controller Options and put the Steam Configuration to Controllers into "Forced Off".
