Gravity Compass on Steam

I tried this game with a standard monitor, but the texts are unreadable, as if they were set in a very low definition. Is there a way to fix that, or is this game usable only in VR ?

There is a white dot in the centre of my view at all times. How do I turn this off? It really takes away from the experience.

EVGA Precision On Screen Display does not show when the game is on a default Monitor. When I set a shortcut key to show the framerates, it changed the Game's video to a solid Blue screen, not a Blue Screen Of death, Just a Blue background with no video, but the Ambient Music is still playing. I click the off key for the on screen display and them the Game's Video returns to normal....

Hoping for some confirmation - the way I have my VR space setup, I can't really access my keyboard without leaving the tracked space. Seems a real missed opportunity if I can't float around in real space...
