It's a good game. The graphics are nice, and the gameplay is varied and quite fun. It has voice acting, which feels a bit uncanny in this game. My only gripe is that the side content is just awful; everything is an uninspired and repetitive mess.

Before I delve into the main review, while I have chosen not to recommend the game, it's not because it's a bad game. The game itself is a decent experience and works well on consoles, which I believe is what it's designed for. However, how it acts on PC is a struggle but not impossible to play.

The gameplay is nice, hosting different mechanics and puzzles as you go through the game. If I had to guess, this is where the inspiration for the open-world for A Skywalker Saga was inspired from, but was expanded to a greater scale than this. That being said, the introduction to an open-world for Star Wars games was inviting and gave the game more life.

As for the issues on PC, it ranges between clunky controls to the occasional crashing. While console is the best way to experience this game, controller on PC has its flaws. At some points you might find that your input for certain puzzles might be occasionally tracking or not tracking at all. The bind menu also uses the original LEGO game menu which can only be navigated by keyboard, mouse is rarely used in this game if ever. And finally the crashes. Thankfully I've experienced few in my playthrough, but many others I've seen are not so fortunate.

If you want to experience the game, I would say it works best on a console. But if you want to do it on PC, familiarize yourself with going between a controller and keyboard for some portions if you feel you might be stuck somewhere. Finally, be careful with your saves in case a crash happens.
