I decided to be missionary for Cobblestone - am I screwed now?

I had no idea Cobblestone's favor was bugged so it seems like it doesn't actually give you anything after you propitiate him. Is there a way I can dump him or something and actually get a god who will benefit me, or am I essentially locked out of getting divine favors now?

Side note, I really wish the creator hadn't left this game to rot. It's so good but it could be so much better if he just would've gone a little further and finished polishing it off.

You can't change god. But you can get favours of other gods other ways of course.
IIRC there is 2 ways to spend Divine Favour: to get +10 in some stat, or to get something material, some rare thing. Like, Morbazar's favour gave me The Key and smth else.
So if you can't spend Cobblestone favour on stat, you can try to get material? Or vice versa.

The Problem with Cobblestone is that you can't gain divine favours at all.

Don't worry too much, there isn't anything from the divine favours that can't be obtained else where.
Oh, except "Reputation: The City of Angels" from the "Wyl o'Pan's Favour", which isn't a necessity any way.

You can still gain divine scrutiny for other sanctioned gods.
You can check the wiki for other ways to gain divine scrutiny other than preaching.
