The wiki is incomplete, help expand it
House of many doors is a cryptic game that people often get stuck in, the wiki is a vital tool. But unfortunately, not enough people have contributed to it

I've done my part in the past couple days by creating pages for
https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Oscillating_Prism
https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Dubious_Trinket
https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Occult_Relic

Including a little info on how to get them and sell them. I even spent a couple hours exhaustively testing the trinkets to confirm the drop rates
These pages probably aren't complete, feel free to improve them farther

We also badly need one for Radical Pamphlets, i'll probably make it when i figure out how to get them

If you ever look at the wiki and fail to find what you needed, please edit it in there somewhere after you do find it.

I agree, I'd love to see the wiki more complete.
I don't know how to create new pages that actually look like nice wiki pages, but in the past I've gone in and edited the Upper deck crew members page to add information on the one-time trysts with a few characters, and added info on how to start a relationship with Judith.

I'd love to put info on getting a few of the more difficult achievements on the wiki at some point.

For creating these item pages, I started by finding a page that already exists. In this case, Warding Iron

https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Warding_iron

Then you go to edit source, and its a bunch of code and text. But its pretty readable code mostly.
I start by copypasting the whole thing into the new page, then edit text as appropriate. things like the description and the weight are fairly obvious. double squared brackets links to a page like [[Warding Iron]], and the shops section is largely a case of just writing in the correct port and shop name

basically, just copy a similar page and fill in the content, it helps maintain a style

I'll see if I can find my tools for examining the game files to see what I can dig up.

if you happen to find any reliable sources of rare items (like radical pamphlets, trepannic fluid, et al) posting them on the forums would be helpful, i can try to edit the wiki myself

An important note, as I've just discovered, capitalisation is important. Pages for ingame items should have Every Word Capitalized

https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Penny_Dreadful
is not the same as
https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Penny_dreadful

The latter is my mistake, anyone know how to delete it?

I've created so many pages over the past couple days. Trepannic fluid, mind shattering disruption, undreamt treasure, witchglass, bloodsoaked monolith, and plenty more ive forgotten

every little think helps improve the enjoyment of the game for someone i hope x

I don't think regular users *can* delete pages in most wikis. Whoever started the Wiki in the first place, and anyone they have elevated privileges to, are the only ones who can, I think.

It might be possible to make the erroneous page *redirect* to the proper page, though.

EDIT: You can indeed redirect, and quite simply too -- just add #REDIRECT [[pagename]] to the code.

"Penny dreadful" now redirects to "Penny Dreadful".

I've created and edited some Wiki pages as well, namely the pages relating to Sanctioned Scriptures and the Nameless Library. I will try to keep updating the Wiki as I work through the game =D
