The Launcher can't be navigated with a controller, this is false advertising
I adore Divinity Original Sin 2, I love it so much that I already had it on Switch and had the ORIGINAL version on GoG but I went and bought it for a THIRD TIME on Steam.

But now, there's this piece of crap launcher that can't be navigated with a controller, on a game that says it has full controller support, so when I try to launch it in big picture mode with Steam Deck I have to bust out a Mouse and Keyboard to play it.

What the hell? This isn't Full Controller Support, this is Partial Controller Support at best. And in a split screen game no less. Shame on you devs, do better.

Enter a launcher skipping code in the settings maybe? Forget the details, its late and I haven't done it in awhile, but you can bypass them through some means. Might be thinking of splash screens on that one though. Could be you need to set a shortcut in your library to launch it directly or something. I dunno, I just know its possible.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing but even that requires mouse & keyboard to set it up and the devs provide no instructions on how to do it so it's like an unofficial work around.

They REALLY should just update the launcher to be fully controller navigable. Games with Full Controller Support shouldn't have a single step that requires a Mouse and Keyboard at any point after the purchase.

Yeah, though I will note that the launcher didn't exist until after the DE version by a year or so even. So, it wasn't a thing until after they stopped working on the game and all the time leading up to that point, you could play 100% controller no problem. It was only added after they started work on BG3 as a means to help introduce players buying into BG3 to their other works, likely as a means to help increase sales on older titles to help fund the new one. Can't really blame them for it.
