Larian still uses bundles.
Bundles do not calculate based on what you already own, they are fix prices and if you already own some of the items you get less for your money.

You're confusing Bundles and Packages. Bundles do exactly what you said they don't do, whereas Packages must be bought in their entirety, with no completion discount. As The Source Saga is a Bundle, not a Package, it would indeed be weird if OP was not getting a discount for completing the bundle.

The Bundle offers a 30% completion discount. You already own D:OS1, and D:OS2 currently costs £13.49. By my calculations, that means your discount should be £4.05, for a total bundle completion price of £9.44.

You don't get 30% refunded from the original item; that's the late adopter penalty. If you buy an item outside of the Bundle, you buy it at full price. Only items bought when Completing the Collection get the discount.

You're right. It confused me, because I can only purchase the bundle for the full price as a gift and don't have the completion option.
Buy Divinity: Original Sin - The Source Saga
Includes 2 items: Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, Divinity: Original Sin 2

Bundle info
-30%-83%£59.98
£10.48

Purchase as a gift

There's your answer, you can't buy only 1 item from the bundle (same as me), you have to purchase both as a gift.

(I own D:OS1 on gog, so I don't have it on steam)
