We have silently released the DE. The cat is out of the bag.

- If you were missing Sir Lora, this issue is now fixed. If you owned or bought DOS2 before August 31st, Sir Lora should pop up in your DLC list. That is enough for the game to know that you have him when you check his box.

- If you are experiencing crashes at startup, we are aware and looking into it. Sending us crashdumps helps. Thanks for those. We are on to some nasties and are working on an overnight hotfix.

- In the meanwhile, it helps if you're not using a unicode profile name for now.

- Also helps if you can try to manually install the VC Redistributables 2017 64bit found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads Normally Steam installs the VC Redistributable but if it failed, that's the one you need.

- If you are still crashing, please check and update your graphics drivers.

- It has helped several people to start the game as admin. To do this, go to the install folder of the game, which is under the Program Files (x86) folder of Steam. There go to the path steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\bin\ and right-click EoCApp.exe and choose properties. In the compatibility tab, check the box "Run this program as an administrator", and click OK.

The above will become invalid once we iron out the problems cause we're not going to ask you to use plain text names all the time from now on, that's just boring.
