FS 2 Improvements
Here's a short list of what the devs should be adding to this game.
Please note that I'm a coder so know exactly why there are delays. Coding takes a ton of time and commitment. Also give the Devs a break. When we're coding we don't even look through all of our regular emails. Facebook and Instagram are non-entities. There is so much in life that we cut out just to meet our project goals.

1. Air Traffic
I think this should be done in 2 stages. Stage 1 should get the mechanics in place for some low air traffic activity. Instead of crowding the skies like they are in real life, the devs should decide on implementing basic traffic movements at the airport the player is near or parked at. Even if aircraft simply take off, do a wide circle and then land again - this would be an improvement over what is now in the game. This should be easy to do.
Stage 2 would be aircraft taking off and landing at other airports.
As we all love the fluidity that FS 2 is known for, I would prefer the devs to keep things simple and not go for realistic flight patterns for air traffic.
Adding a bit of life to the game is sufficient.

2. Ships
FS 2 uses photographic landscape. Near ports and the coast there are places where you can see ships travelling. These are static. It would be great if the devs edited these out of the photos and replaced them with dynamic marine traffic. These would follow certain routes along the coast and create their own wakes. Flying over these would be great. Adding an two aircraft carriers for East and West Coast would be great, even if we can just fly over them. If they followed a circular route up and down the coast that would be totally acceptable.

3. Experimental dynamic areas
Whenever I do coding I have my large project file and then a whole lot of small experimental files. These are extremely useful and get incorporated into the main projects.
I think the devs could use this practise to find out what works and receive player feedback. If they could introduce a single dynamic area in the game. A shopping centre where there is dynamic land traffic with trucks and cars. I think where devs come short is when they try to implement this for the whole world map. The world is just too big. If they could just get one shopping centre and one town centre right then that may form a basis for further expansion, plus it would be great for player feedback.

4. Audio
So my audio doesn't work in-game yet. I still have to find a work-around. Yes I've tried pressing 'q'. On the subject of audio - it would be nice if the devs added the ability to play mp3 files in the background. The audio settings should provide sliders for what level each audio level plays at, eg. mp3 Audio, ambient, engine, and in cockpit sounds.

I think FS 2 is great. I do not like over-complicated flight sims. I much prefer something that is arcady, and I love it when games load very quickly. FS 2 delivers on these and I'm happy with it.
