Please help! The game isn't launching

Whenever I press the "play" button, next to the game's name in my library appears a "- running", all normal. The problem is, after less than 2 seconds, the " - running" disappears and the game doesn't launch. If I double press on the "play" button, a new window that says "Preparing to launch Megaton Rainfall" appears as well as the " - running" thing. After less than 5 seconds, both dissapear.

I tried to launch the game from the game files but an error appears: The app couldn't lauch correctly (0xc000007b). I tried updating Visual C++ but it didn't work (I read that worked)

I've deleted de game some times, restarted steam, the computer, uptdated the OS, updated my GPU drivers, etc, and the same keeps happening.

GPU: Nvidia GTX 960
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 CPU@ 3.20 GHz 3.20GHz
RAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok I solved!:

You have to go to the game files, open _CommonRedist > vcredist and lauch the instalers inside (both the 64-bit and the 84-bit)

Ah sorted had to install the OpenAL too.

Greetings,

I have the same problem, 0xc000007b error always appear if I try to start the game manually from the folder.

I tried the solution above, it didn't worked. I don't even have the folder in my documents from Megaton Rainfall.

Try deleting the game and then download it again

There is still no folder. It mostly seems, that the game have to start for the first time, before the folder is created. Since I always get the error, there is no possibility that the folder ever creates.

Tried:
-> Reinstall
-> Deleted whole Game
-> Installed DirectX
-> Installed OpenAL
-> Installed vcredist_x86
-> Installed vcredist_x64
-> Checked for bad files at Steam
