Does anyone know how to get this achievement?

I had the chance to play this at a friends house on the Switch and was really excited to play it on Steam (even with some features missing). However, whenever I start the game, it crashes and generates a crash report. When I have controllers connected, one player muust control two ships, and it's not possible for one player to control one ship. Thus, it's now possible to play more than two players, and each must control two ships. This does not happen when connecting with keyboard. It happens when choosing players.
