Is there a way to disable controller without having to unplug all controllers?
The game automatically recognizes my flight rudder as controller, and the mouse cursor is impossible to control, jumping around the screen. I have several controllers attached (including a gamepad, which the game does not prefer using for some reason), and I don't want to have to unplug them just to play this game. Currently, it is impossible to click on menu buttons even. Is there a way around this problem?

This is quite a good suggestion, will forward to the team and we will discuss it. At the moment, there is no such option. Does connecting rear controllers affect the game in any negative way?

Thank you for your response. Here is what I did:
I have an X56 HOTAS (stick and throttle), Saitek Flight Rudder and a generic gamepad plugged in.
The game was recognizing the toe brake axis of rudder pedals (no auto centering) for controlling the mouse cursor, making it impossible to click on anything. So, I unplugged the rudder, and the game now decided to recognize 2 of the 6 axes on my throttle controller for mouse cursor, which was still very annoying but controllable enough (I can center the sliders) so that I could define a custom gamepad controller (since the game did not recognize mine), assigning it for movement and other controls.
I thought everything was good, but then when I plugged back in my rudder, the game immediately recognized it again, taking control of the mouse cursor and making it impossible to use the mouse controller. Looks like the game recognizes all controllers plugged in, allowing simultaneous control by controller axes of different controllers. Not very good in my opinion.
So, I had to unplug the rudder again, to be able to try the game. I liked the game overall, but it is very inconvenient for me to reach back behind the PC box and plug and unplug my rudder controller everytime I want to play this game.

I took the time to write this in detail in the hope that devs can find a solution to this, as this is a game breaking issue to me. I'd like to be able to keep this game in my library if at all possible, so looking forward to a solution on your part.

Thank you

I have the same problem but if it were possible to just have a button to disable the controllers it would already be a great help, preferably if they were automatically disabled and only those who needed them could reactivate them.

I have the same issue. Uninstalled. Not worth the hassle trying to fight poor design
