pacifist question

this may have been answered before, but do you get locked out from doing it if you kill the knight in karst city

i cannot take screenshots because my f12 doesn't work for some reason, but you're locked in the room with the knight when you get there and a platform rises up

That enemy is not mandatory to clear the game, you can try to find a different path around it. As for the answer to your question, I honestly don't remember if he counts or not.
