번역 관련 문제 보고
Unfortunately, there are no plans to bring either of those games to Steam. There are a variety of reasons for that:
1. Those two games in particular are made in very old engines. To be re-released nowadays, they would need to be partially remade in newer engines, which would be a time-consuming process (reprogramming, testing, etc.).
2. Directly related to the above, the games would need to have a variety of features implemented (eg: interaction with Steam achievements, rebindable buttons, options for music volume, etc.) They do not even have basic functionalities like gamepad support.
3. Personally, as the creator of those games, I think they haven't aged well. It would not sit well with me to re-release them in the same state they were released in, over 10 years ago. So I'd want to tinker with them and polish as many aspects as I could to be on par with the latest Momodora releases.
4. We are a very small indie team making these games. We have to focus our efforts on making new games and not get sidetracked with projects like re-releases. As I said above, a number of changes would be needed to have a working version of these games on Steam, and that would require our full attention.
I know it's not great to hear these things, but I hope you understand. I wish I could just put two remakes of those games out there on Steam, but it's unfortunately not that easy. And I'd rather focus my time and efforts on bringing new exciting games rather than spend days trying to re-work projects I'm not very proud of into Steam.
I can give them $200 trough paypal if thats the whole issue. But I suspect that the quality of life explanation makes more sense.
Unfortunately a sad truth is nobody really uses itch.io. I hope they consider a re-release or remaster some day. These give good money too.
