I'd say its done since it was officially released June 18, 2020.
5 patches came out very quickly after making version V1.0.0.5 the latest.

At that time the playerbase kept complaining and still gave bad reviews. But part of that was due to a the failure to delete all saves made before version V1.0.0.0 came out.
I really doubt devs got any additional sales for releasing and quickly patching...
All we know is they went dark after that last patch.

If you have an old save I'd highly recommend a start fresh.
You can always make a manual save by copying the "PAM_GameLauncher" folder at:
C:\Users\ [username] \AppData\LocalLow\NVYVE Studios\PAM_GameLauncher
Then just delete everything in that folder to start fresh and see intro for first time in years.
It's a interesting experience, but you'll find the ending feels a bit rushed.

It was 100% rushed at the end... It was going really well then kind fell short with the ending. Little disappointing, but it was the closest I could get to a system shock like game so I guess I forgave it for that XD
I'm still hoping theirs maybe a 2 on the horizon but I kinda doubt it.

Knowing development having serious issues with time and resources, on top of changing versions of the engine, the devs had to rush things.
That included simplifying the story campaign, and removing promised features like some certain locations and multiplayers.
It's still a big game with a lot of hours you can put into it, but with its rough bugs and stability, I do with the devs came back to this at some point to smooth out the experience much more.

Y'all out here speaking of endings, and I never got past mission one, lmao.

last time i played it was pretty bad and not out of beta at all. get a better game than this, there really isn´t much that you miss. if you like weird glitches and bugs, you might get some fun out of it.

Seriously? You'd give them more money after what they pulled? :steammocking:

Company's gone dead silent and the internet is devoid of hits. Facebook and Twitter not updated- these guys went bankrupt, for sure, just that there's no public dissolution filing.

Ending felt a tad rushed, yeah, and definitely a cop-out. I personally also wouldn't have minded if the story guided you to explore more areas. As it stands by linearly following narrative, you will not see several locations in the entire map. Almost all of Nirvana I skipped because it was non-crucial to the story.

This game is just, overall, a mediocre experience but the visuals are quite nice.

Edit:
I may have to swallow my words. It's easy to overlook, but someone is still updating their website.

Since they dropped off the grid, it'd have made sense if it was still stuck on © 2021. Someone updated it to 2022. Not exactly a sign of life, but better than nothing.

i think you never played system shock then... this game is faaaaaar from system shock in ALL regards. the og system shock is much more fun than this garbage here. there will definitely be no 2nd game. there is not even a 1st tbh. it is an unfinished mess with tons of game breaking bugs. it is good to show how NOT to make a game maybe... well i had fun with the bugs, but i also got the game for free. not worth $1 imho...

I liked the ending, my imagination just went out of control.
It was really nice. When i was done playing, i was sitting there hoping for a sequel ;D

I played system shock when it first came out mid-90sx and no sound was coming from PC's built in speaker back back then. Your comparison is flawed as is your logic troll.

I hope not.

These developers seem to have had a way too ambitious plan ahead of them, and I dare say a good amount of mismanagement considering the amount of bugs. The overall quality of this game isn't anything to write home about.

Its not gonna happen, but I wish there would be a part 2.
You could always wait for the game to be done and reviewed by youtubers ;)

maybe if they actually managed to even finish this in a fully working state... this definitely 100% doesn't deserve another part.
