In the Screen posted above you can also see another bug. Text is cut off at the bottom. It's especially visible with g, p, y

Alas, the way the letters are cut off at the bottom is just how the font is made.

Text stutters and moves around weirdly when scrolling. I don't mean the speech bubbles, it's that parts of newly scrolled text repositions itself relative to other text.

Not sure if this counts as a text bug but here goes.
While talking to NPCs that have menu choices, entering a directional input during conversations causes the menu opening sound to play each time you press the Attack/Accept button during that specific conversation. I've tested with with Huang in the Panda Inn and Caldina in the Hunter's Guild and it happens nearly 100% of the time.

Edit: It happens when I press any direction that isn't down, pressing down causes it to go away until any other directional input is pressed again.

The LV9 text somehow fall behind (sometimes also happenned to the dog pet), clicking it resulting in equiping Anchor Gear.

It also seems to happen randomly, and restart the game seems fix it.

I get a variation of that bug when I open the menu on the Status page, seen here: https://imgur.com/a/M3OYi. Switching tabs then back to the Status screen resolves the bug for me.

Typo after the plant boss

Subaru is was referred to as male (aeroplane scene) and female (witch's hut/hamlet) during different scenes.

Aeroplane scene Ragna: "Guess it's natural for boys your age though...."

Hamlet cutscene Kai: "Do you really thing you have the luxury of being worried about her right now?"

Well, yes, Ragna had the misconception that Subaru was male.

Yes but he says that after she was referred to as female in his presence (witch's house but have to check this again). Already thought it had to be Ragna making a mistake but it is a bit confusing like this. I mean Kai is saying "her" and there's no reaction from Ragna and all in that scene. Just the usual no pronoune in japanese problem then i guess.

Edit: Witch's hut she is only referred to as "she" in Rue's thoughts so ragna wouldn't know from there.

This seems to always happen when Item Order is set as "Tools -> Food", which is a bit of an eyesore. But there's an even worse side-effect:

I can't select anything using a controller or the keyboard. The only way to give up is using the mouse. This also happens at 1080p, fullscreen.
