Are you looking for something specific?
Looking forward to seeing it release, and thanks for the BGM fix!
It was my first try with an AI Upscaler.
Since that picture, I've discovered a whole new world of things to learn about upscales...
(For example, from other Spike games like Way of the Samurai 1, 2, & 4, Samurai Western, Tenchu, & Shinobidou, or games by other developers such as Ghost of Tsushima)?
Or mods that edit existing ingame models; would like to see the Samurai in the red armor that you can befriend, but with the Bearded Samurai head that some Men in the Ouka gang & Fujimori clan have.

The models in the Way of the Samurai games always seem to be in a weird format; My theory is that both the gameplay model & cutscene model of a character are stored in the same file, at the same co-ordinates, causing this weird overlapping/clipping.
Then, I think the game engine either makes one invisible & the other visible as & when it needs it. Either that, or the engine changes the co-ordinates of the model it doesn't need, so they're no longer clipping.
@Zach Fett Yeah, if anyone ever makes a J-Horror mod, that would fit the bill.
I keep searching to fix that. Thank you for your potential solutions
If you manage to get this working, you should do one with the bearded Samurai head on the red armor Samurai body (Like the man you can befriend near the recent battle),
& one with the the bearded main character head (the one that's in your picture in the original post) on the same red armor body.
