All in all, I honestly recommend this game to anybody who enjoys story rich games or to people who enjoy the vampire / grim / Victorian aesthetic.
This game is one of the best story driven games I have ever played in my life.

I very rarely write a review, especially one so detailed, but I feel like I have to do this because I went into this game not sure what I was expecting of the mostly positive (at the moment) reviews and I was really surprised about how good this game is and how easily it can encapsulate you into the grim, Victorian setting it offers.
I really hope the developers are considering DLCs or a Vampyr 2, I'd really love to see what they do in the future and I want more of this type of games.

There are a lot of fully voiced lines in the game, so be prepared to spend a lot of time speaking with NPCs. However this seemingly mundane "task" is enriched with very good backgrounds for each and every NPC, most of them have secrets that you discover either by speaking with them or observing them. Some of them also offer quests.

Most of the reviews here complain about the combat system, but I've had no issues with it at all. Sure there are not a lot of skills and powers you can unlock, but for a ~30 hour experience it's plenty for you to mix and match a build you're comfortable with.

The music in this game is just simply WOW. It adds so much to the experience, the ost has became one of my favourites.
The sound effects are also very good, they add a lot to the vampire settings.
My only critique is that the main character has too few lines for specific actions, such as eating a rat. The few lines available can become really old really fast.

There is not much I can write about the visuals. They're honestly good, really good, however I lack the experience in reviewing to elaborate on this. Overall I quite enjoyed every part of the visual spectacle that was shown to me.

I really did not expect to experience so many unique game mechanics. It was a pleasant surprise.
Mostly I loved the morale and district system, I don't think I've ever seen something similar in any game I've played, but it works really well in this setting. Every NPC and every action contributes to a district's status.
The mechanics like combat were OK. They weren't bad, but they weren't anything new either.

This game is amazing , and truly worth playing! Every decision matters, big fights are always interesting, the story is steeped in real history and fantasy, and the characters are mostly deep and interesting. I adore this game and totally suggest it!
