Owners of the original will get the new version for free like all the pro consumer publishers do, right? Yesterday we received free remasters of original Doom and Doom II for free with improved visuals, new levels, online co-op and many other new features. It was the same with Quake and Quake 2 remasters, they also got co-op and similar features to the Doom remasters.

Original owners also received remasters of Bioshock 1 and 2, Mafia 2, Red Faction Guerilla, Skyrim SE (if you had the Legendary Edition before the Special Edition release), Darksiders, Metro: Exodus, Borderlands, Desktop Dungeons, Titan Quest, Mark of the Ninja, Divinity Original Sin, Dear Esther, Serious Sam, Sine Mora, BloodRayne, The Witcher 3 (they redid a lot of 3D models, some interface and game mechanics, but it can be considered an update, not a remaster).

Looks fantastic, all of my doubts are squashed, and loved hearing GONE GURU again.

The only reason to be remastering perfectly good games is because you can't come up with good ideas yourself.

Much like star wars, I can no longer afford my attention to once beloved franchises being r'd to death in the dirt.

That price tag is wild....
