true story originally Jean-Claude Van Damme was set to play as Predator back in 1986. The scenes were filmed in a color suit that would be edited out using visual effects, but still they needed to rework the design of the creature because it was difficult to walk in the jungle with stilts so they called a hiatus on shooting. While away, Van Damme bragged to producers he was working as a villain on the next Arnold Scharzenegger and bragging that was enough for him to get a 3 picture deal....
