I ended up submitting a bug report from this thread (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/421170/discussions/0/1630790987602448063/), if you have the time maybe you can do the same
I'll update this if I hear back from them or if I somehow figure out a fix
It appears I have the same trouble but, since I'm stubborn, I tried several things. The characters appears if I'm in full screen, but not in borderless or windowed mode. In case that might help you.
How does one go about switching to integrated graphics exactly? I assume this is temporary and will mess with other programs?
If your card is NVIDIA go to the NVIDIA Control Panel>Manage 3D Settings>Program Settings then select or add indivisble in box 1 and integrated graphics in box 2 then apply.
This should keep it from changing your settings for other games or programs.
Yup... I did some research, tried exactly that, couldn't find a pull down menu for "box 2", then had a friend remotely look at my computer and we found that it doesn't actually have integrated graphics. It's a custom built PC and completely reliant on the Nvidia, so RIP. I'll just wait patiently and see if there will be a patch later on. Thank you for your help though! :)
I'm in the same boat, no option to switch to integrated graphics
I think I can force it in the BIOS but doing that will render my GPU completely useless for every other application, so that's not an option..
I tried again anyway today with different settings, but still no luck..
Hopefully the devs are aware of this issue and can roll out a patch soon, was really looking forward to this game.
My GPU is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M 4GB, since it most likely matters.
Also, even though I could, I don't want to use my IGP not to get sub-par performance...
this game should be called "invisible"
think i ll refund it
Adjust Anti-Aliasing Settings:
1) Open your NVIDIA Control Panel (or AMD equivalent).
2) Go to Manage 3D settings and then Program Settings.
3)Add Indivisible to the list of programs.
4)Set Anti-Aliasing - Mode to Application-controlled
