Controller inputs not working

I plug in my Astro controller and the game says that it's there but it doesn't register any button presses at all. Am I missing something? The demo worked totally fine.

I'm having a similar issue with my Xbox One Bluetooth controller.

Has anyone found the problem or solution for this? I was able to use my controller last night. But when I tried to play today, it wouldn't work.

I'm having the same issue - even made a different post about it - and I still have no idea how to fix it. It's a shame because I was loving what I actually got to play. Just commenting here to put this thread on the front page again. I hope someone has an answer soon.

Had this problem on Steam Deck. Changing controller order fixed it

I'm having an issue where once I have 3 companions, the right button is A and the down button is B, but it mislabels the right button as B and the down button as A, and then the characters respond with different controls. The labels were correct with only two party members.
