Trading Cards?

Just got the game. Excited to play it but is there any chance the developer wil add cards? It influences a lot of us on which games to buy even if it sounds silly. Just watching the trailer it seems like there is plenty too choose from for Cards to screencap and Ship sprites could be resized for nice badges. Is there a reason? Does it take a lot more effort to implement then I realize?

still no cards for this game since the january announcement... whats happened?

hey neosalad, they're coming soon together with some balancing updates :) We've been busy building another shmup. Once we release that (next month) we'll update Vector Strain with trading cards and some player ships/difficulty balancing tuning.
