Like A Ghost Achievment

hey all

going for 100%, I'm pretty sure it doesn't count, but wanna be sure, ! (exclamation mark) doesn't mean that guard is alerted right?

or does knock off affect achievement?

Maybe too late for an answer already, but still.
It happened to me sometimes that the guards went into "Huh, what was that" mode but never once really spotted me and started chasing. And I still got the achievement by the end.
