Doesn't work for me. For example chapter 2, prison break, I let police mans kill all zombie except last one, then I sacrifice but no achievement for me.

NVM, looks like game language have to be english or it doesn't trigger.

Hum, interesting! Every time I tried to fix this bug, I never managed to reproduce it, it's strange if it's linked the selected language but I'll check that to see if there is a correlation between the two!

Not sure how to get this achievement to pop.
I've tried sacrificing all zombies in a level.
I've tried letting all but one overlord zombie get killed and sacrificing the overlord.
I've tried letting all but one normal map-spawned zombie get killed or blown up, and then sacrificed the last one.
I've tried letting all but one normal converted zombie get killed or blown up, and then sacrificed the last one.
I've tried mid-level sacrificing my last zombies to end it.
I've tried switching languages between English and Spanish, won't pop there either.
Tried switching from fullscreen to a lower resolution windowed mode, tested more, no change.

Found another thread that suggested turning off steam cloud saves for this achievement to pop. I tried turning of cloud saves and then tried sacrificing every zombie in a level, and I got the achievement.

I faced the same problem.

Solution (do it exactly in that order):

- check the integrity of the files
- start the game, exit, check the integrity again
- start the game again
- start the Hard Rain mission
- sacrifice the first zombie

So i've got the achievment. Thank you for the solution to the player n21lv. I found it in topics from the year 2017.

- запустить игру снова
- запустить миссию Hard Rain

That works!

Awesome game but no solution is working for me: I can't find a way to get the achievement, even trying in Hard Rain or Underground Passage (after skipping tutorials).

-tried disabling steam cloud saves: no result
-tried verifying integrity of the files, starting the game, exting program, verifying again and then testing the achievement: no result.
-tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times: no result.

I am playing in English, somebody suggested the problem could be linked to the language. Any hint from the developers on how to solve this?

It worked! Somehow it unlocked itself suddendly. I have absolutely no clue how.

Once you log in and boot up Steam, go to the top left of the home screen and click on the "Steam" option. Next, go to "Settings", then a new window will open. click on "Cloud", and then remove the tick box on “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for applications which support it.” This will disable cloud save functionality across all games on Steam.

Then load the game up and go to the level "Hard Rain". Soon the level starts, sacrifice the first zombie. The Achievement will pop up.

Then just close the game down and put the "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for applications which support it" back on

Restart Steam, disable the cloud, enter the game, switch to English language, go to Hard Rain and sacrifice, I did it like this and it worked

This worked for me too! I had cloud saves off by default so that wasn't it. It was just bugged. Did exactly this and it popped.

There is a easy trick to get this achivement, in NO WAY OUT you let the zombie walk to his death and while the glowing one awakes, you sacrifice him before he follows his friend.
