The achievement “bring ’em on!” is impossible, I play with the "curse" mutator and "it was easy" but I can't do it

Using El Capitan, the game launches the unity window, then freezes. Has to be force quit. Any ideas?

...Why does the "no margin for error" mutator only give me one health? The description says "the maximum possible health". Is this a troll to get the player to play longer than the refund window in order to save up $10,000?
