The combat is present. There are only few moves like 3 attacks, block, and evade. It's not too difficult.

IIRC I died twice in the game, one at the tail end of a very long (drawn out) sequences of battles near the end.

So no, not really hard.

there's some i can't see sh$@# moments but it's more annoying than difficult. Combat is not too present though.
