Great game.

I didn't think I would like Stardew Valley, I held off because of the sprite graphics and I didn't want another grindy game, but I do like life simulators having played the Sims franchise alot and I read good positive reviews of Stardew Valley so I finally took the plunge and bought it about a week ago, I haven't regretted it.
So far I've mostly been playing single player, the fishing was annoying at first but now I've gotten used to it, the farm isn't very big at the moment but I've grown and sold quite a fair amount of produce and I have a chicken coop, currently building up enough funds and resources to get other buildings and upgrades.
The characters seem to be pretty well thought out and the story is getting more interesting, I'm currently at 5 or 6 hearts with Abigail and Haley so I don't know which one I'll eventually marry LOL.
The one thing I'm not a fan of is the constant walking back and forth from the farm to other locations and having to rush back before midnight to sleep, I don't know if you can stay in the mines throughout the night and just eat energy foods or if you definitely have to get back home to sleep, I haven't tried staying there overnight yet.
I've done a little bit of multiplayer and started a co-op session with a friend, but we haven't done much more than a couple of hours of play, due to scheduling etc, but it does seem like good fun, I would definitely love to play more multiplayer co-op at some time.
Overall then I'm pretty pleased I took the risk and bought it, I would certainly recommend it to other people.
