Is this from back in the day?

I seem to remember this game on Sega Genesis and loved it. Is it the same version? Or based off an arcade? is there many differences?

Before you play - Controls

-To set new key configuration on the game, press ALT+Enter to come out of full screen mode. There you can click "Game" and then "Configure Controls". -The game is compatible with most controllers not only Xbox 360. I've played successfully through them with the Logitech F3XX controllers in Directinput mode (see instruction manual on your controller to find the different modes). -If the game is lagging, or skipping and not running smoothly, please make sure your video card is set at best performance mode...
