Questions involving the stars on the map!

I know that green stars are current missions, but what do the purple and yellow stars represent? Does one color mean I missed something in the area? There's no map key explaining what the symbols stand for, so I'm curious! I'm currently scavenging for picture frames and kromium orbs, so if the colors indicate completed areas that will save me a lot of backtracking!

A map key would actually be a good suggestion, i don't even know what the colors represent.

There's a bunch we need to do to the maps (that we did in TY2) that include better iconography. I <think> that each of the missions in the callsheet has its own star color, so you can see what is where. Whether that is actually <represented> by icons in the call sheet is a different matter!

I just wanna comment for anybody that comes across this like I did (but in a search for something else). From what I gathered, and am pretty positive on, this is what the colors on the map mean.

Purple- repeatable mission
Yellow- repeatable area/is in area in “Game Totals”
Green- current missions
Flashing green- currently selected mission
House/shop/race flag- self explanatory

Hope this helps anyone that comes across this in the future 😁
