Koala spies are not getting counted

Each time I load my hardcore save and start the koala spies mission they aren't getting counted and when I reload the save it acts like the mission was never started like in this video I made: https://youtu.be/lKpXt9y-6OA

Hey mate!
That's the first spy mission - you have to find that first one, then go back and talk to Sgt Bluey to finish the mission.
Once you've done that, you have to talk to Ranger Ken to start the "spies hidden in the levels around the whole game" mission (which is the one that is counted in the game totals in the pause menu)
Please let me know how that goes!
