This is really bugging me on my "previously completed" list. Can't believe it's been like this for so long! (I was previously without gaming-able PC so I never got a chance to find out.)

I don't wanna SAM this but I also find it rather frustrating for this to drag down my completion percentage. I usually start games and finish them before moving on to the next one to avoid this kind of thing. Grindy (or DLC dependent) games aside I usually only have 1 to 3 games WIP at any given time.

Publisher cares enough to put the game on discount for the Autumn Sale—not so much about broken functionality!

At this point I think it's a lost 😭

Well the devs response to the Original question was over 2 years ago, and even with the pandemic in mind it currently seems a lost cause until it's proven otherwise.

It's been half a year since I last posted in this thread and it would appear nothing has changed, so I have decided to change my review for this game from recommended to not recommended, even if that resets the ratings on it. It may not make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, and it is a real shame because I truly do adore the game, but as completionist I can't recommend a game with broken achievements, much less those added many years after release. Should the status change I'll gladly update my review once more.

I did this as well, and I urge everyone who owns this game to do the same. This is ridiculously bad behavior by a developer. At least he appears to be now an ex-developer after apparently going out of business, so we can all be thankful for that.

Done. I really want Steam to take more serious action toward this kind of behavior. They kinda don't care, just like the developer.

Looks like game is again sale but they don't bother remove 2 broken achievements.

If the game is dead and the developers are no longer active to support it, i've noticed that at least the v2.0 can be downloaded directly from the depot if you already own the game.

The only problem i had is that i wasn't able to run it with the steam overlay and i had to run it directly from the advent-standalone.jar otherwise it wont start directly from steam.
