Serious Sam HD: TSE Update 228543 - public beta

Build 228543 for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is now available in beta "publicbeta", which does not require a password.

To install the beta, do this:
- locate the game (Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter in this case) in the Steam's "Library" panel
- right click and invoke "Properties"
- select the "Betas" tab
- choose "publicbeta"

Here are the changes:

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug causing Canned Cain player model to disappear.

Lol Croteam, so funny. One patch, one fix will be your new slogan. That game is full of bugs, no servers on moddable, no modders support... And you fix a skin after 5 years... Ok.

It's also a 5 years old game and they have 2 newer one to support and one more to make.

Solais what about make a mega patch of ALL games including servers in all moddable version? Players will be ETERNALLY grateful, I will buy serious sam 4 too. You are a great modder too (2000+ hours spent on editing), so why you disagree?

Sure, when Serious Sam HD was a new game they supported it too much ;) The never gave a ♥♥♥♥ about Serious Sam HD; that's the point.

I disagree because I know how precious Croteam's time is, and I know that the modded server thing is harder to do than anticipated. There will be one, about the same time as there'll be a Linux version of SSHD. It takes time to prepare it though, so it will come after SS4.

In 2030 maybe there will be a moddable dedicated server, yes. If you develope a game based on community contents and then you don't allow users to play them you must win a GOTY... Seriously... Croteam should sell the Serious Sam saga and brand to someone who really know what developing a game means.

Community also made a balancement mod and players enjoyed it a lot. Croteam just had to modify official parameters files. How much time do they have to spend? 3-4 minutes? Do they want money? It's so funny...
