I beat it, wow, the difficulty of this game is pretty brutal.

Some mildly spoilery tips I can suggest after playing through the game:
Read up on how to abuse titles and farming dungeons with the failure title. Else you are in a world of hurt trying to grind and keep up with a less cheat-y strategy. Also read up about bottle mail phantoms and how you can use them to break the game. Speed is ludicrously unbalanced. You break your speed, you kill the game. You turn into the worse scenario of the Flash unable to slow down and the world is now permanently still.

Final thoughts overall, the story felt unfinished toward the end. Some stuff kind of felt forgotten or just didn't have enough time to weave certain characters deeper into the story. Some characters like Sienna and Walnut felt half finished on what they wanted them to do in the plot. It was great hearing Steve Blum and his amazing journey doing nothing but getting drunk with a bird person for the whole game. Did the shades wearing bird person ever have a name? In fact, this game has a great list of voice actors who all show up in this game which made it worth playing just for the nostalgia whiplash and 'wait, you're in this game too?'.

I wish there was a auto sort for skills. After merging a weapon, that had 13 or so other weapons merged into it beforehand, what a mistake. Her skill list was a nightmare to wade through afterward.

I didn't really like the class system of this game compared to other nipon ichii games. It felt like the weapons were more of the characters than the actual characters holding them.
